Met behulp van AI en machine learning kunnen we effici\u00ebnt risico\u2019s identificeren en beheren waardoor het veel makkelijker wordt om op onverwachte gebeurtenissen zoals vertragingen, kwaliteitsproblemen, veranderende vraag of politieke instabiliteit te anticiperen. Dit komt doordat AI veel effici\u00ebnter is in het samenvoegen, analyseren en interpreteren van verschillende gegevensbronnen dan traditionele algoritmen, zeker met de opkomst van Large Language Models (LLM\u2019s) zoals GPT-4.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI kan ingezet worden om historische gegevens te combineren met real-time gegevens, inclusief gegevens van externe bronnen als weersvoorspellingen of politieke ontwikkelingen. Dit kan een tijdrovend en foutgevoelig proces zijn dat gemakkelijk leidt tot vertragingen of verhoogde kosten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Met behulp van AI kun je dit proces automatiseren en optimaliseren. AI neemt namelijk op een effici\u00ebnte wijze alle relevante gegevens in overweging om tot een beslissing te komen. Door zowel historische- als real-time data over vraag, voorraden en prijzen te combineren kunnen AI-tools betere beslissingen maken over wat, wanneer en tegen welke prijs ingekocht moet worden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een ander voorbeeld van inkoopautomatisering is het gebruik van AI chatbots. Chatbots gebruiken LLM\u2019s om delen van de communicatie met je leveranciers te automatiseren. Denk hierbij aan tijdrovende processen als het controleren van beschikbaarheid, prijzen en verwachte levertijd bij talloze leveranciers. Met gebruik van AI Chatbots kan dit proces geautomatiseerd worden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tot slot kan AI ook intern worden toegepast om het inkoopproces te verbeteren.
